    Fibromyalgia, depression, and histamine intolerance

When I was 52 years old my doctors finally told me I had fibromyalgia but there was little they could do to manage the pain. The medicines made me feel bad. I had tried the Paleo diet, the AIP (Autoimmune Protocol), low oxalates diet, and nothing helped. I read countless blogs and followed health gurus on social media, bought every health book known to man, listened to so many podcasts, and I only kept getting worse. I was down to eating a handful of foods because I had developed histamine intolerance and I felt so depressed. I wasn’t sleeping, my hormones were so low, I was having hot flashes which I thought were my hormones and I was going through menopause. I had done so many functional medicine tests and everyone kept saying how my oxalates were so high. It wasn’t until I sat down with Analia that she explained that this is due to vitamins and minerals deficiency. I had wasted years of my life following restrictive diets and thousands of dollars chasing the source of my high oxalates. She took me off every restrictive diet over time and I no longer have frozen shoulder. It was a struggle to move daily but I finally have the energy now. I got back to doing yoga with my girlfriends. I don’t understand how everyone before was so wrong about my body but I am happy I found FMCC and that they were able to zero in to my core issues. I can eat everything now and it was a long road to get here but I don’t experience any more pain and my shoulder is fully mobile again! I also sleep like a log. My labs have improved so much and I continue to experience health improvements from month to month.

I learned to listen to my instincts and let go, to listen to professionals for my conditions that my doctors before said it was all in my head. My issue was trusting what they were saying because I had never read what they were saying on any book or any blog before. I also learned that there is hope out there and that there are people who truly know their nutritional biochemistry like Analia does. This team is amazing. I highly recommend them to everyone. ~Betty P.
